Colors Gourmet Pizza Crusts are handmade by our skilled team of artisans and are the perfect solution for busy chefs who don’t have the time to make their own pizza dough from scratch. We do the labor-intensive mixing, resting, fermenting, staging and shaping. You add the toppings to create a traditional, gourmet or signature pizza. 

Crusts are par-baked and need to cook only long enough for cheese to melt. That means fast oven-to-table serving for you and a consistently superior pizza for your guests.            

Rustic Style Crust

Colors' newest creation! This hand-tossed, irregularly shaped pizza crust will convince your guests you made it from scratch in your own kitchen. We have perfected this dough to yield a nice crunch out of the oven while retaining a soft and chewy inside. (The Rustic Cheese Pizza with the same attractive shape and bubbling of the rim is also available.)

The irregularly shaped Rustic Style Crusts are available in 7-8, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-16 inches.

California Style Crust

The California Style Crust has Colors’ distinctive hand shaped rolled border. This medium thick crust is soft and fluffy allowing for a longer final bake time, which reduces the chance of over-browning. The raised border helps hold the toppings in place and perfectly retains heat making it the ideal crust for room service or buffets.

Flatbread Style Crust

Our Flatbread Style Crust has a hand-tossed appearance reminiscent of neighborhood pizza parlor. This crust is medium thick, which works well for room service and buffets. The finger dimples in the crust hold the sauce and the artisan styling features a graduated edge that gently thins from border to middle, helping to keep the toppings from overflowing in the oven.

Ultrathin Style Crust

Ultrathin Style Crust is our thinnest crust and is made without a raised border for edge to edge topping. This crust is the ideal choice for a thin crispy pizza, grilled flatbread or serving with dipping sauces. This crust works great in Panini grills and is the choice of health conscious customers who prefer a lighter pizza with less dough, particularly whole wheat dough.

Oval and Rectangular Ultrathin Crusts

Note: California, Flatbread, Ultrathin and Oval styles come in 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 inches. They can also be made with herbs and from whole wheat flour. Colors welcomes the opportunity to develop large-production specialty items uniquely created to “wow” your customers.
